Deputies Investigate Toddler's Death in Fayetteville

The death of a 1-year-old is being investigated in Cumberland County.

Sheriff’s deputies were called Saturday to a home at 2918 Dwelle Dr., near Fayetteville.

Upon arrival, they found the deceased toddler. The cause of death was not released Saturday night.

The toddler’s body was sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy.
