Delta flight lands safely at RDU after engine oil pressure light

A flight en route to Boston from Raleigh-Durham International Airport was diverted on Wednesday.

According to a Delta Airlines spokesperson, the captain of Flight 2915 (RDU-BOS) declared an emergency to expedite landing due to an engine oil pressure indicator light in the cockpit.

The plane returned to RDU safely and the passengers were transported to Boston on another aircraft.

The plane was removed from service and will be inspected, the spokesperson said.
