Day 3: Riding with a novice
The Race Across America is Henry McKoy's first long-distance, competitive ride.
A team of eight Durham leaders, including the founder of DurhamCares, are participating in the eight-day, 3,000-mile trek to raise awareness of the charity. DurhamCares matches potential volunteers and donors with nonprofits that can use their skills and desires.
Filmmaker Jesse Oxford is traveling with the DurhamCares team as they Race Across America. He is filing daily video updates from the road.
