Dating, eating, driving: Here's how Raleigh stacks up with other US cities
Do you love where you live? According to a WalletHub study, Raleigh is the 6th best state capital in the U.S. to call home.
The study was based on livability factors like housing affordability, household income, unemployment rate, health conditions, number of millennial newcomers and education level.
Interestingly enough, Raleigh ranked 5th as the best metro for dating, according to a survey by Apartment List, but it was also listed as the 2nd least romantic city in a Instacart study.
When it comes to love, Raleigh had a little in-state competition, because, in that same survey, Charlotte was listed as one of the most romantic places to live.
The Oak City can also be included in WalletHub's ranking of the best places to drive.
According to the study, North Carolina is the 5th best state for motorists, with only Texas, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa beating the state.
Raleigh gets a little foodie love, too, and this time internationally. Earlier this year, Forbes ranked Brewery Bhavana in downtown Raleigh one of the 10 coolest places to eat in the world.
