Cumberland County school bus catches fire; students unharmed

A school bus carrying Cumberland County students caught fire Wednesday near the intersection of Bingham Drive and Bailey Lake Road in Fayetteville, officials said.

Crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly by about 3 p.m., and no students were injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
