Crews battle fire overnight in townhouse complex in Raleigh

Crews battled a fire at a townhouse early Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called to a home on Sustainable Way, not far from Poole Road in Raleigh, around 1:30 a.m.

The wood outside the home was heavily burnt, with some of the damage spreading to the complex next door.

No one was injured, and the fire was contained to the outside of the structure. Officials say the people who live in the complex can still safety live there, despite the exterior damage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
