Countdown to Wegmans: Future Triangle area locations
Wegmans is not only opening their first North Carolina location in Raleigh on Sunday, September 29, they are also planning to open five additional stores in the Triangle.
According to the Wegmans website, the confirmed upcoming North Carolina stores include two in Cary, one in Chapel Hill and one in Wake Forest. A possible location in Holly Springs has also been approved by the Holly Springs Town Council but Wegmans has not officially announced the store and it is not on their list of upcoming NC locations.
At this time, they have only offered an opening time frame for the West Cary store, which is sometime in 2020.
Wegmans has not given any indication as to when the other stores will be opening.

Opening in 2020:
West Cary location at Davis Drive and Airport Boulevard in Wake County, NC
Opening at some point after the West Cary store:
Cary location at Cary Towne Boulevard and Interstate 40 in Wake County, NC
Chapel Hill location at US Interstate 40 and Highway 15-501 in Orange County, NC
Wake Forest location at Route 98 bypass, just east of Capital Blvd. in Wake County, NC
Possible Holly Springs store at intersection of N.C. 55 and Ralph Stephens Road.
