Outdoor movies are returning to Durham Bulls Athletic Park Thursday, Oct. 15, Thursday, Oct. 22 and Sunday, Oct 25. Gates open each evening at 6 p.m.

On Thursday, see a moment in Durham history featured in "Best of Enemies." Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson and Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell star in the tale of an unlikely friendship between civil rights activist Ann Atwater and Ku Klux Klan leader C.P. Ellis that helped lead to school desegregation in Durham in 1971.

The legal drama "Just Mercy" will be screened on Oct. 22. Based on a true story, it stars Michael B. Jordan as defense attorney Bryan Stevenson, and Jamie Foxx as Walter McMillian, a Black man convicted of the murder of a white woman.

On Oct. 25, Academy Award nominee "Selma" tells the true story of the events leading up to and during the Selma to Montgomery marches in 1965, milestones in the Civil Rights movements which led to passage of the Voting Rights Act.

All movies are $10 per person; kids under 10 are admitted free.

The ballpark is laid out with social distancing "pods" which can accommodate up to 10- people apiece.

Concession stands are open and some food trucks will be on hand.
