List of stores offering grocery delivery and pick-up

If you prefer to stay out of grocery stores and pharmacies while the pandemic continues, you may want to consider using a delivery service or take advantage of curbside pick-up.
Following is a list of grocery and drug stores stores offering curbside pick-up and delivery so you can still get your essentials without risking unnecessary exposure for you and your family.
With grocery curb-side pick-up, you don't even have to get out of your car. Some stores offer this option at no extra charge, but other stores charge a small fee. Most stores charge a fee for grocery delivery to your home and it is usually higher than the fee for curbside pick-up.
Keep in mind that grocery store stock is variable right now and some of the items you order may not be available. Please be kind to the shoppers who are helping to keep you safe by doing your shopping so you do not have to go in to the store. It is not their fault if the store does not have everything you ordered. If you are able, a larger tip than you may normally give a delivery person is very much appreciated by these folks who are risking their own health to do these jobs.
Although most grocery stores have hired extra staff to help with pick-up and delivery orders, some stores still have a wait timesof a couple days to pick up an order.
Grocery Stores Offering Curbside Pick-Up or Delivery
Aldi
Aldi offers grocery delivery or curb-side pick-up through Instacart in limited geographic areas. They are currently offering free delivery on the first 3 orders of $35 or more when you use the coupon code SHOPALDI20 at checkout. See the details on their website HERE. Amazon
Amazon offers delivery of groceries and household essentials through the Amazon Pantry section on their website. You'll even get free delivery on orders of $35 or more if you are a Prime member and you can sign up for a 30 free trial at Amazon.com HERE. You can cancel the free trial at any time so you don't have to pay for a membership if you decide you don't want to continue it. If you are not a Prime member (and don't want the free trial membership), the fee is only $5.99 for shipping.
With Amazon Pantry, you can order from many different types of grocery and non-food product lines including breakfast, canned & packaged, pasta, candy & chocolate, condiments & dressings, beverages, snacks, meals & sides, soups & stocks, baking & cooking, herbs & spices, cleaning, wellness, beauty, paper products, baby care and more.
If you have a total of $35 or more and you are an Amazon Prime member, your order will ship for free. If your order is less than $35 and you are an Amazon Prime member, the shipping fee is $5.99. If you are not an Amazon Prime member, the shipping fee is $5.99 for any order. Keep in mind that some products are taking longer to ship because of the high demand right now.

Big Lots
Big Lots is offering curbside pick-up and they will bring the online order out to your car. To get curbside pick-up, go to the Big Lots website and choose Pick Up In Store. You'll get an email letting you know when your order is ready to pick-up. Once you get to the store, you can pull in to the parking lot and call the store from your car and let them know you are there to pick up your order. Make sure you have your bar code from the order or your ID handy so they can verify it is the correct order. See the details on their website HERE.
BJ's Wholesale Club
BJ's Wholesale Club offers free in-club pick-up as well as delivery through Instacart. You can also have products shipped through their website. They are also offering free same-day delivery on one order of $35 and up when you use the code BJS20SPRING at checkout. See all the details on the BJ's website.
Carlie C's
Carlie C's offers pick-up and delivery options. The item total must be greater than $25.00 for pick up or delivery at most locations. There is no fee to pick up orders. There is a fee of $8.95 for delivery (not including tip) at most Carlie C's locations. You may find that your local Carlie C's is able to delivery same day or the next day right now where some other stores have a wait time of 2 few days to a week to receive grocery deliveries.
Carlie C's is also offering FREE delivery to customers over the age of 60 when you place a $100 online grocery order and use the promo code Love65 at checkout through July 31, 2020. Costco
Costco offers same day delivery through Instacart. The minimum order is $35. See their website HERE for details and fees.
Food Lion
Food Lion offers delivery and pickup through their website HERE.
For curbside pick-up orders over $35, the fee is $1.99. The fee is $3.99 for orders less than $35.
For delivery, there is a $3.99 fee for orders over $35 plus a service fee.
For delivery, there is a $7.99 fee for orders less than $35 plus a service fee.
All delivery orders must be $10 or more.
Delivery Service Fee: The delivery service fee is 5% of your order. It may be higher in busier times. Before you checkout, you will see the delivery service fee when you pick your delivery time.
Dollar General
Dollar General offers online shopping and delivery for non-perishable foods, personal care, cleaning, household, health, beauty, home, office and more. Shipping cost is based on the weight of the total order. A recent order I made with 24 items including snacks, personal care items and over the counter allergy medicine had a shipping fee of $5.99. Harris Teeter
Harris Teeter offers same day delivery or pick-up. There is a $4.95 shopping fee for either option. For delivery, orders totaling $50.00 or more have a $9.95 delivery fee and orders totaling under $50.00 have an $11.95 delivery fee. The $4.95 fee is waived for yearly or monthly subscribers. If you choose pick-up, they will bring the order out to your car and you do not have to go in to the store. Seniors get free order pick-up and $5 delivery. See the details on their website HERE.

Lidl
Lidl offers delivery through Shipt HERE. MyLidl members receive 3% off every Lidl order placed through Shipt.
Lowes Foods
Lowes Foods offers online ordering and grocery pick-up at the store. The fee is $4.95 per order or $99 annual membership. Delivery is also available for an additional fee. See the details on their website HERE.
You may want to download the FlyBuy app for pickup orders. It allows you to indicate when you’re on your way to the store, which speeds up your pickup. It also keeps you from having to touch a callbox when you arrive at the store. The FlyBuy app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Publix
Publix offers delivery and curbside pick-up (in select locations) so you do not have to go in to the store. They are managed by Instacart. See the fees and details on their website HERE.
Sam's Club
Sam's Club offers free pick-up. Order online, and they will have your order ready for you when you arrive. There is no minimum order required. To get your order, you can pull up in the Drive Thru area (available at select clubs) or go inside. They also offer delivery. Plus Members (Primary & Complimentary) with an active membership receive free shipping on eligible items and there is no minimum purchase required. Club Members and Guest Members will incur shipping fees.
Sam's Club is offering a new concierge service for senior and at-risk members. "During special shopping hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., at-risk members can shop Sam’s Club without ever leaving their car. From a designated parking location, members in need can place their order from their car, and a Sam’s Club associate will grab the items on the list." See the details on their website.

Target
Target offers grocery pick-up for free and delivery for a fee. You can order online for in-store pick-up or order through the Target app for drive-up and they will bring it out to our car so you do not have to go in to the store. The Fresh Market
The Fresh Market offers curbside pick-up and delivery. See their website for details.
Walmart
Walmart offers free curbside grocery pickup. See the details and place an order at their website HERE. Make sure you chose the store closest to you. You can also order non-perishables with free 2-day delivery when you spend at least $35 on Walmart.com HERE.
Weaver Street Market
Weaver Street Market is now offering offer curbside pick-up at all locations. You can order by 6 pm for next-day pickup and if the pickup times are full for the next day, they will offer other dates and times. According to their website, the "online prices and specials are the same as in the stores." There is a $50 minimum for pick-up orders and a $4.95 pickup fee. Whole Foods
Whole Foods offers delivery here in the Triangle. Prime members can shop Whole Foods Market on Amazon.com for free 2-hour delivery and free 1-hour pickup in select U.S. cities.
Drug Stores Offering FREE Prescription & Product Delivery
CVS
CVS is waiving charges for home delivery of prescription medications so people at higher risk can stay home as much as possible. Walgreens

Community Organizations Offering Food Assistance and Help For Seniors
Community of Hope Ministries, Garner, NC
Community of Hope Ministries at 601 St. Mary's St. in Garner is offering a drive-thru Food Pantry during specific hours and days so people, including seniors, do not have to get out of their cars. You do not need to sign up ahead of time to come to the pantry and there is no cost. The food pantry will be distributing food during these hours:
Tuesdays and Thursdays – 11:00am-12:00pm
3rd Thursday of every month – 6:00-7:00pm

The Center for Volunteer Caregiving in Wake County
Volunteers trained and vetted by The Center for Volunteer Caregiving are available to do grocery store/pharmacy shopping or pick-ups for adults 65+ and adults with disabilities 18-65 who cannot navigate the online ordering system and who cannot leave their home or do not want to leave their home at this time. For anyone who needs this service and who is not already a client of The Center, they have modified their registration process. Call 919-460-0567 and speak with any of The Center's staff.
This service is available for Wake County residents only. The services provided by The Center are free.
In addition, their volunteers can provide telephone check-ins for anyone who needs reassurance and a friendly voice. They have modified the registration process for this service as well until the pandemic passes.
Their volunteers provide other services such as friendly visiting, light housekeeping, telecare, transportation to medical appointments and basic needs shops, and caregiver respite, but most of these services are on hold for a few weeks during the pandemic.
They are also looking for volunteers to help those in need, if you are looking for a way to help out during this pandemic.
