Willie Nelson has postponed a Charlotte show after reportedly walking off the stage due to illness.

Nelson performed in Raleigh on Friday at the Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek during the Outlaw Music Festival, which featured a line-up of other artists including Sturgill Simpson and Alison Krauss.

Nelson was also expected to perform during the Outlaw Music Festival on Saturday in Charlotte at the PNC Music Pavilion, but reportedly walked off-stage before the music started. Live Nation immediately released a press release, stating:

Due to illness, Willie Nelson was unable to play tonight at the Outlaw Music Festival at PNC Music Pavilion Charlotte. Fans are asked to please hold on to their tickets until the new date is announced.

A video posted by a YouTube user showed Nelson setting down his guitar before throwing his cowboy hat to the crowd and leaving the stage.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
