Christmas murder-suicide leaves Sanford couple dead

A Sanford couple was found dead on Christmas morning following an apparent murder-suicide, police said Monday.

The bodies of Erick Sanchez, 61, and Maria Sanchez, 39, were found in their home, at 5008 Valley View Drive, at about 3 a.m. Friday by their daughter, police said.

No other details were released.
