Americans can't get enough of Chick-fil-A, according to a recent study.

The fast food chain topped all others for the fourth year in a row, earning the title of America's favorite fast food restaurant, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index.

Using data from interviews with nearly 300,000 customers, the survey rated the restaurants out of 100 possible points, and Chick-fil-A earned an 86, one point lower than their result from the last three years.

"The company still demonstrates customer satisfaction dominance," the study said. "With its strong satisfaction edge and plans to continue expanding, the chicken specialist could pose a threat to even the largest players in the industry."

Chick-fil-A's closest competition was an unnamed group of smaller fast food outlets with a score of 82. Panera Bread earned third place with a score of 81, and Papa John's and Arby's rounded out the top-five, both with scores of 80.

Wendy's topped all fast food burger chains with a score of 77 while McDonald's finished last with 69 points.
