Charlotte police searching for man accused of pushing his way into woman's home, sexually assaulting her
CMPD said they are still looking for the suspect at this time. The incident happened on Kumara Road on Sunday.
An investigation is underway after a man pushed his way into a woman's home and sexually assaulted her, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said on Sunday.
It happened at an apartment on Kumara Road in Charlotte's University City area just after 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to CMPD.
CMPD said a call came in regarding a sexual assault. Police said the victim heard a knock at the door. She answered the door and an unknown man forced himself inside, according to police. CMPD said the man sexually assaulted her and then left.
