Caught on cam: Little Free Library stolen in Wake Forest

Police are searching for the person who stole a "Little Free Library" in Wake Forest.

The Wake Forest Police Department showed surveillance images from the Nov. 21 crime near the intersection of South White Street and Elm Avenue.

Little Free Libraries are scattered around communities in parking lots, neighborhoods and parks. They are based on the honor system of "take a book, leave a book," helping children and adults get free books without entering a library.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the person.
