Here's a fun way to mark the holidays and have a little fun with the kids.
The Cary, the movie theater in downtown Cary, will host Christmas Cartoons and Cereal at 10 a.m., Saturday.
Wear your jammies; enjoy some cereal, which the theater will provide; and watch a couple of Christmas cartoons.
They'll screen the 49-minute "Buster & Chauncey's Silent Night" and the 48-minute "The Nuttiest Nutcracker." Both are rated G and animated and were released in the late 1990s.
Tickets are $7 for this one. The Cary's website has the details.
