Cary man accused of hitting police officer with stolen car
A Cary man is accused of hitting a police officer with a stolen car.
Raleigh police said Malcolm Paris Falconer, 18, who told police he lived at 1115 Nottingham Circle, attempted to elude an officer Sunday morning at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Holmes Street.
A resident of that address said Falconer no longer lives there.
According to the arrest warrant, police wanted to question Falconer in connection with a possible sexual assault.
Falconer refused to stop and struck the officer with a stolen Dodge Caravan he was driving, the arrest warrant states.
Falconer was charged with fleeing to elude arrest, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, possession of a stolen vehicle and larceny of a vehicle.
He was being held Sunday in the Wake County jail under a $1 million bond.
