Cary Hotel Wins 5 Diamond Rating

The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary has won a Five Diamond rating from the American Automobile Association, or AAA.

It is the first and only full service hotel in North Carolina to earn the rating. The hotel opened almost one year ago.

AAA looks at 41,000 hotels and restaurants each year. Less than 1 percent receive the Five Diamond rating.
