A fire truck responding to a medical call at Green Hope High School in Cary Thursday afternoon was involved in a wreck outside the school, a spokeswoman for the town said.

There were no serious injuries reported.

The wreck, which happened around 2:45 p.m. at 2407 Carpenter Upchurch Road, involved one other vehicle, but the cause was not immediately clear.

Another engine ended up responding to the school for the original medical call, the spokeswoman said.
