The center, which offers artistic materials and educational programs to promote reuse of discarded materials, is kind of like a smaller, newer version of the venerable Scrap Exchange in Durham.
It's new home with Marketplace by Gifts With a Heart is at 5301 Hillsborough St., Raleigh. A grand opening is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday.
This is a great place to stock up on supplies for your various holiday projects, handmade gifts and school assignments.
