Car ends up in Fayetteville motel pool

Authorities are investigating how a car ended up in a Fayetteville motel's swimming pool on Thursday.

The state Highway Patrol said they received a call about a motorist who had broken down. When crews arrived a car was inside the swimming pool at the Econolodge, 1952 Cedar Creek Road.

There were no injuries.
