Capital Blvd. BBQ spot closes

Barbecue Lodge, a Capital Boulevard strip mall spot for more than 30 years, closed its doors suddenly this week.

Hungry diners were left with a sign on the door that did not offer any details. It said, "Barbecue Lodge is PERMANENTLY CLOSED."

The restaurant was popular with the lunch crowd and famous for all-you-can-eat family style dinners of barbecue, fried chicken and all the fixings.
