TyraTech, a Florida-based maker of plant-based, environmentally friendly pest and parasite control applications said Monday that it will relocate its headquarters to Morrisville.

The move is expected to bring 105 jobs to Wake County, according to a statement from Gov. Bev Perdue.

“TyraTech is an excellent example of North Carolina’s successful efforts to attract high-tech and green industries. In this case, we got both,” Perdue said. “Like so many other companies, Tyratech recognizes that we have a highly-skilled workforce and top-ranked business climate thanks to our investments in education and worker training.”

The company will post openings for the jobs beginning in March at www.tyratech.com. A date for the move has not been finalized.
