ExpressJet Airlines is expanding its destination list from Raleigh-Durham International Airport even before flight service actually launches.
The new regional airline will offer one-stop service to Albuquerque, N.M., and Tucson, Ariz., in addition to six non-stop flights that were announced earlier this month.
ExpressJet plans to begin flights out of RDU between May 7 and June 12.
According to the flight schedule map at the ExpressJet web site, the airline also will at some point offer one-stop service to Austin, Texas, and Los Angeles/Ontario, Calif.
The six non-stop flights include New Orleans, San Antonio, Louisville, Kansas City, Birmingham and Jacksonville, Fla.
ExPressJet will operate Embraer ERJ-145 model jet aircraft that seat 50 people.
