Franklin Hospital cuts some jobs
The layoffs came in eight departments and were necessary because of the down economy, said Jennifer Westfall, marketing and PR director at the hospital.
About 17 employees at Franklin Regional Medial Center in Louisburg lost their jobs Thursday. The layoffs came in eight departments and were necessary because of the down economy, said Jennifer Westfall, marketing and PR director at the hospital.
The center employs about 300 people in all.
