BrickUniverse, which now travels across the country, started in Raleigh eight years ago. It last visited Raleigh in September 2021. The event features live LEGO builds, a Building Zone with thousands of LEGO bricks for attendees to build with, a gallery of life-sized LEGO models and more.

BrickUniverse will be at the Raleigh Convention Center on July 9-10. Tickets, which are $15, are on sale now via the event's website.

A new attraction for 2022 will include displays from British LEGO Artist Martin Harris from West Sussex, England. A multiple award winner for his creations, Harris will be at the Raleigh event all weekend showcasing massive LEGO Disney and Star Wars displays.

In addition to Harris' work, there will be hundreds of new LEGO creations for attendees to see at this year's event.

Other event attractions include LEGO Friends and LEGO Duplo brick building areas and a Star Wars building zone featuring bricks that can be used to create spaceships and other creations, The large Building Zone, which includes thousands of bricks laid out for attendees to build with, will also be back this year.
