Bragg soldier dies from wounds suffered in battle

Master Sgt. Gregory R. Trent, 38, a member of the 4th Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) out of Fort Bragg, died Wednesday, according to the Department of Defense. 

Trent, of Norton, Mass., had been wounded July 31 in Baktabad, Afghanistan, when enemy forces attacked his unit with small-arms fire.
