Boys Lacrosse Rankings: In last regular season top 25, Orange moves up and Durham Academy moves in

Orange jumped from 19th to 14th. amid some top-20 shuffling, but the bottom was almost untouched from a week ago, save for Durham Academy joining the rankings to replace Weddington.

Charlotte Catholic is the No. 1 team in the HighSchoolOT statewide boys lacrosse rankings heading into the playoffs.

Green Level slides up to fourth and Lake Norman is back in the top five after Christ School lost back-to-back contests to fall to ninth. Hough leapfrogged Heritage into seventh, one spot behind a red-hot Providence Day team.

Rankings reminders:

  • Rankings are updated weekly and released on every Sunday
  • All high schools in the state of North Carolina, excluding athletic training academies, are eligible for the statewide top 25
  • Rankings are paused during the N.C. High School Athletic Association playoffs
  • Final rankings are released the week after the state championships
