Death investigation underway after man's body pulled from Raleigh lake
Raleigh police have identified the body of a man found in a neighborhood lake on Wednesday as 26-year-old Madison Xavier Armstrong.
At approximately 10:52 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 5200 block of Turf Grass Court.
Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered Armstrong's body in the lake.
Armstrong's family and friends, who rushed to the scene, say that Armstrong was last seen a week ago in southeast Raleigh. They believe the body found in the lake was his.
Police are investigating Armstrong's death, which is ongoing.
