Before the Story Airs: The babysitters

At WRAL, it's always very exciting to see a newborn baby in the newsroom. Co-workers pop their heads out from cubicles and descend on the new Mom or Dad in seconds once the sound of a stroller is in earshot.

The latest baby to make her entrance is Elsa, Renee Chou's newborn daughter. The morning team wasted no time ushering Renee to a relaxing seat at the WRAL Sand Desk while they played "babysitter."

Thursday at 6 a.m., you will get to see a behind-the-scenes look at the visit, including some funny improv from Bill, Elizabeth, Michelle and Brian. Lots of fun was had by all! Check out the slideshow for a preview and be sure to watch the story on TV, Thursday morning!
