Beat the heat with unique frozen treats

Blend Cafe in Durham is hosting a Froyo Flavor Competition tomorrow. Out & About will be there guest judging the unique flavor creations!

Competitors have already been whipping up crazy creations, including Captain Crunch Blueberry Froyo and Turkey Bacon Froyo. You can vote on Blend's Facebook page for the most creative or appetizing frozen yogurt treat, and the Top Five finishers will be featured in the tasting tomorrow.

I'll be at Blend tomorrow for the event as a guest judge, so come stop by, say hello and eat some delicious treats. The competition starts at 2 p.m.

The winner will have their creation added to the menu for a year (and win free froyo for a year).
