At the annual BackPack Buddies food drive on Saturday WRAL Mix 101.5 and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle are teaming together to stock up for children who might not get enough to eat.
BackPack Buddies provides packs of healthy foods and snacks to needy families so that children who eat a free or reduced-price lunch at school get to eat nutritious meals on weekends.
Mix 101.5 will broadcast live and accept donations at two Wake County locations Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: At Cary Crossroads outside Old Navy and in Brier Creek in front of BJ's.
