Authorities Target Crime at Rocky Mount Stores

Hundreds of people were arrested in Rocky Mount in an effort to clean up criminal activity around convenience stores.

Law enforcement officials said 410 people were arrested during a four-day crime sweep, Operation Strike One.

About 40 officers from eight different law enforcement agencies targeted 14 stores in the Rocky Mount area. The charges covered a wide range of criminal offenses.
