A dark Infiniti and a yellow Camaro were traveling west on Interstate 540 near Old Millburnie Road around midnight Thursday when the Infiniti sideswiped the Camaro, authorities said. The Infiniti left the scene.
Hit-and-run sends driver to hospital; authorities searching for suspect
Authorities in Wake County were searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run overnight.
A dark Infiniti and a yellow Camaro were traveling west on Interstate 540 near Old Millburnie Road around midnight Thursday when the Infiniti sideswiped the Camaro, authorities said.
The two vehicles crossed the median, and the Camaro flipped several times.
The Infiniti left the scene.
The driver of the Camaro was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses said the Infiniti was driving recklessly and appeared to be traveling more than 100 mph.
Authorities said it is missing both its front and back ends.
