Authorities investigating apparent shooting Sunday in Johnston County

Authorities are investigating an apparent shooting Sunday in Johnston County.

Witnesses told WRAL News they heard several shots in the area of Live Oak Church Road.

Authorities with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and State Highway Patrol had three separate areas blocked off with crime scene tape.

Investigators did not share information about the situation.
