Authorities investigate skydiving death

Authorities are investigating the death of a skydiver in Martin County on Saturday.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said Frank Albert Plisko, 55, of Newport, died shortly after 11 a.m. at the Martin County Airport, where he was skydiving. Deputies did not provide details on his death.

The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Federal Aviation Administration.
