Investigators have identified a homeless man whose body was found May 30 in a wooded area of Harnett County.
Authorities said an autopsy determined 54-year-old James Warren Jearhart III died of natural causes. His body was found near U.S. Highway 401 in the Kipling community north of Lillington.
An Embarq worker was heading to a shed housing some telephone transmission equipment when he made the discovery.
Deputies were able to identify Jearhart by his fingerprints.
