Authorities cancel Silver Alert for missing Cumberland County man

Authorities in Cumberland County halted their search for a missing man Wednesday about eight hours after he left a home on Camden Drive in Fayetteville.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled its Silver Alert for Benjamin F. Damon at about 9:15 a.m.

No other information about his disappearance has been released.
