Attention Moana fans: She'll be in Wake Forest tonight

Wake Forest's family movie night series wraps up tonight, Saturday, Aug. 12, with a free screening of the new Disney favorite, "Moana."

And, as a special treat, there will be a Moana Meet and Greet before the movie. The meet and greet runs from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and includes a hula lesson and photo opportunities. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. It takes place at Joyner Park, 701 Harris Rd., Wake Forest. The series includes family-friendly films that are projected on a 26-foot inflatable movie screen in the park's amphitheater.

It's free and open to the public. If you go, be sure to bring a blanket or chairs. On-site food vendors will be there to sell snacks and refreshments.
