Arrest made in Harnett County man's beating death

A Lillington man was arrested Friday in the beating death of a 53-year-old man, authorities said.

Antoine Bernard Foxworth, 44, of 193 Holy Mission Lane, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of David Reed McKoy, Harnett County Sheriff Larry Rollins said.

McKoy, who lived at the same address as Foxworth, was found beaten to death in the home on Wednesday.

Foxworth was being held with no bond at the Harnett County Detention Center on Friday.
