The Raleigh Children's Business Fair is looking for young entrepreneurs with Shark Tank dreams to sell their product or service at its upcoming event.

The fair is set for 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, Oct. 3, at Midtown Park in North Hills. As part of the event, kids will get a chance to fine-tune their brand, product or service and build a marketing strategy. On the day of the event, they can sell their wares.

The application is open now to participate and asks kids what product or service they plan to sell, the price point, how they'll pay for their startup coss and how they'll advertise their business before the fair, among other questions.

Kids can run a business together, but there can be no more than three participants per business, according to the fair's FAQ page.

Those selected will need to submit a $20 deposit. Participants will get a booth with a six-foot table and one chair. Forty different businesses will be selected to participate.

More information, including the online application, is on the fair's website.
