Apex TE Kaleb Morrow increases offer count to 7

Following a recent offer by Appalachian State, Morrow now has four in-state offers and seven overall.

Appalachian State University offered Apex High School rising senior tight end Kaleb Morrow on Monday.

The verbal offer is Morrow's seventh such opportunity to play at the next level. Four of the offers have come from in-state schools.

The Charlotte 49ers were the first to offer Morrow last April. Morrow's next offers began to come in January. Temple offered on Jan. 18, Towson came through on Feb. 6, East Carolina offered on Valentine's Day, Middle Tennessee State got involved on Feb. 19, and Elon made an offer on Feb. 20.

Morrow is listed at 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds.

As a junior, Morrow caught 30 passes for 382 yards and two touchdowns. As a sophomore, he scored four touchdowns on just eight receptions.

He also played some defensive end as a junior. In that role, Morrow had 15 total tackles, four tackles for a loss, and 1.5 sacks.

Apex finished the 2023 season with a 7-4 overall record. The Cougars lost in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association's 4A East playoffs by a score of 51-35.
