'I heard the shots:' 3 people found shot inside car after crash in Morrisville

Police in Morrisville are working to make an arrest after a shooting and crash put three people in the hospital.

When police responded to a crash at Davis Drive and Morrisville Carpenter Road around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, officers found three people inside the car with multiple gunshot wounds.

The three victims are aged 17, 21 and 30.

Witnesses say the people who did the shooting sped away in another car.

"I heard the shots, and it was better than probably 12 or 15, and it was bang, bang, bang, bang," said Jeff Opar, who saw it happen.

Multiple bullet holes can be seen around the vehicle's doors and windshield, and at least one window was shattered.

Authorities say all three victims are in stable condition, and they do not believe this was a random attack.

Police said the vehicle carrying the shooters from the scene was a dark-colored sedan.

The incident is still under investigation, as officers search for those involved.
