Monuts Donuts opens shop in downtown Durham
Monuts Donuts, one of the most popular draws at food truck rodeos in the Triangle, are now available anytime at their new store in downtown Durham.
Monuts Donuts have been the sweetest thing on three wheels at many Triangle food truck rodeos and now they finally have a home.
Owner Lindsay Moriarty will open Monuts Donuts, 110 East Parrish St. in Durham, to the public at 7 a.m. Thursday. They will be open until 2 p.m
In addition to their amazing handmade doughnuts (We recommend trying the Earl Grey), the shop will also be offering fresh bagels, English muffins and eggs cooked to order.
In 2011, Moriarty started selling doughnuts around Durham on a re-purposed tricycle.
