Eight students were taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after a Wake County school bus and a car collided on Wade Avenue in Raleigh.

Nine students were taken to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after a Wake County school bus and a car collided on Wade Avenue in Raleigh.

A spokeswoman with the Wake County Public School System said no students were injured in the crash, but the nine were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The crash happened on the eastbound lane of Wade Avenue between St. Mary's Street and Glenwood Avenue. The bus was carrying students from Lacy Elementary School.
