8 Wawa convenience stores to open in eastern NC in 2024

Wawa, the popular Pennsylvania-based convenience store chain with locations across the northeast and in Florida is finally coming to roost in North Carolina.

The company plans to open eight locations in eastern North Carolina by the end of 2024, with a goal of 80 locations in the next 10 years.

The first Wawa locations in NC are:
