8 men arrested in Moore County drug investigation, sheriff's office says

Eight suspects are facing charges in connection with a joint drug investigation conducted by the Moore County' Sheriff's Office and Aberdeen police, authorities said Wednesday in a press release.

Eight suspects are facing charges in connection with a joint drug investigation conducted by the Moore County' Sheriff's Office and Aberdeen police, authorities said Wednesday in a press release.

Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at two separate addresses in Aberdeen but authorities did not say what prompted the investigation.

During the drug investigation, officers seized 35 grams of cocaine, 141 grams of marijuana, one dosage unit of ecstasy, one dosage unit of suboxone, a firearm, drug paraphernalia items and $1,875, according to the press release.

Authorities said the suspects were arrested on drug-related charges.

They were identified as: Travis Jermaine Core, 35 and Javon Drakeford, 20, both of Aberdeen; Duane Jackson, 32, of Carthage; Tony Williams, 30, of Pinehurst; Naphish Vincent, 20, of Fayetteville; Raymond Marsh, 32, of West End; Eric Ratliff, 38, of Southern Pines; and Victor McLaurin, 38, of Raeford. were all arrested on drug-related charges.
