$410,400 winning Cash 5 ticket bought at Harris Teeter in Cary

A Chatham County woman became a lucky winner when she purchased a $1 Cash 5 ticket from the Harris Teeter in Crescent Commons on Kildaire Farm Road.

Candace Burke, from Moncure, won the $410,426 jackpot and took home $290,386 after required federal and state tax withholdings.

Carolina Cash 5 drawings are held nightly during WRAL's 11 p.m. newscast.

Friday’s jackpot is $126,000.
