Rude Awakening
Rude Awakening is nestled in downtown Fayetteville next to the iconic Cameo Art House Theatre on Hay Street.
Hay Street is arguably one of the cutest areas in Fayetteville, and Rude Awakening definitely adds to the charm of downtown Fayetteville.
Grab a book at City Center Gallery & Books and head over to Rude Awakening for your morning cup of coffee.
The kooky outdoor garden area is the perfect place to enjoy an iced coffee and read a book on a warm, sunny summer day.
It's also perfect for a relaxed date night. Stop by Rude Awakening for coffee and conversation then head over to Cameo for a movie night.

The Coffee Scene
The Coffee Scene off of Skibo Road is – in my opinion – a hidden gem.
The winding staircase, bright colors and funky decor give off major Friends vibes.
There's plenty of space to sit and work at The Coffee Scene. Not only is there a main floor and upper level, but there's also an outdoor seating area.
The outdoor area is shaded and there are outlets so you can work outside and enjoy the weather.
The quiches are to die for – I never leave without getting the crustless veggie bacon quiche. So do yourself a favor and try one the next time you stop by The Coffee Scene.
If you have more of a sweet tooth, you can grab a scoop of gelato or a dessert from the bakery.

Dolce Aroma
Dolce Aroma feels like a coffee shop you'd find along the streets of Italy.
The authentic espresso and pictures of the Amalfi Coast bring a taste of Italy to Fayetteville.
Enjoy a cappuccino and one of the decadent desserts at Dolce Aroma.
The cappuccino I had was by far the best cappuccino I've had in Fayetteville, and the cheese danish was the perfect pairing.
An added bonus is that the coffee shop is connected to Elizabeth's Pizza. Go enjoy some delizioso pizza then head over to Dolce Aroma for an espresso, like a true Italian.

Leclair's General Store
Leclair's General Store is easily one of the most eclectic stores I've discovered in Fayetteville, and inside the store is an adorable coffee shop.
Not only does Leclair's sell candles, pottery, clothing, books and other unique trinkets, but they also sell a wide variety of wine -- making it the perfect one-stop-shop.
From the outside, Leclair's looks like nothing more than a typical general store, but don't be fooled.
As soon as you step inside, you realize how far back the store goes. You could easily spend hours walking through Leclair's General Store, looking at all of the different items and knick knacks.
Grab a cup of joe and a new coffee table book or candle to spruce up your home.
