3 Charged in Goldsboro Slaying

Three people were charged Thursday with the shooting death of a Stantonsburg man last month, police said.

Darian Sutton, 17, Tyruss J. Lawrence, 21, and Veronica Danielle Steele, 17, were charged with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. All three were being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail.

Police responded to a report of a man in a vehicle stopped in a ditch on Randall Lane on Nov. 21 and found Ernesto Delgado, of Stantonsburg, dead in the driver's seat. Delgado had been shot, police said.
