According to the National Weather Service, two homes were damaged and one building collapsed, but no injuries were reported. A 9-year-old boy named Landan was inside one of the homes when the tornado rolled through.

"After a few minutes or so, it all calmed down," he said. "I was very scared, and I tried to call my mom."

The belongings of the two homes were flung out into the street and the grass, Landan said it looked like the homes "spontaneously combusted." While Landan was still inside one of the homes when the tornado rolled through, the residents at the other home missed the tornado by a few hours.

Landan's family remained grateful that he survived.

"Looking back at it, [it] is kinda sad to see something I grew up in all my life being, well ... what it is right now," Landan said.
